<p>Jeg har for nyligt opdaget at man kan få billige planter og buketter med <a href="https://toogoodtogo.dk/da">Too Good To Go</a> . </p>

<div class="wp-block-jetpack-tiled-gallery aligncenter is-style-rectangular"><div class="tiled-gallery__gallery"><div class="tiled-gallery__row"><div class="tiled-gallery__col"><figure class="tiled-gallery__item"><img srcset="https://i2.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/IMG_6373-1.png?strip=info&#038;w=600 600w,https://i2.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/IMG_6373-1.png?strip=info&#038;w=640 640w" alt="billige planter og buketter too good to go" data-height="1136" data-id="2819" data-link="http://littlebotanist.com/?attachment_id=2819" data-url="http://littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/IMG_6373-1.png" data-width="640" src="https://i2.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/IMG_6373-1.png"/></figure></div><div class="tiled-gallery__col"><figure class="tiled-gallery__item"><img srcset="https://i1.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/IMG_6370-1.png?strip=info&#038;w=600 600w,https://i1.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/IMG_6370-1.png?strip=info&#038;w=640 640w" alt="billige planter og buketter too good to go" data-height="1136" data-id="2820" data-link="http://littlebotanist.com/?attachment_id=2820" data-url="http://littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/IMG_6370-1.png" data-width="640" src="https://i1.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/IMG_6370-1.png"/></figure></div></div></div></div>

<p></p>

<p>Du finder blomsterbinderier og planteforretninger, under kategorien &#8220;andet&#8221; i Too Good To Go appen. I København har jeg blandt andre fundet <a href="https://www.instagram.com/bispebjergblomster/">Bispebjerg Blomster Aakanden</a>, <a href="https://cphblomster.dk/">Binderi &amp; Nostalgi by House of Inspiration</a> og Amager Center Blomst. Men der er sikkert også mange flere. Man kan eventuelt bruge søgekategorien og søger efter Blomster. Så skulle de fleste duppe op. </p>

<p>Jeg elsker Too Good To Go, og jeg har selv brugt konceptet i perioder. Men nu hvor blomsterbinderier og plantebutikker også er blevet en del af konceptet, kommer jeg helt sikkert til at bruge det igen.</p>

<p>Det var bare et lille onsdags-tip herfra. </p>

<p style="text-align: center;"><em>Bathroom of my dreams. Photo source: <a href="https://www.elledecor.com/design-decorate/interior-designers/advice/a3156/design-insiders-weekly-finds-april-8-a-68858/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Elle Decor</a></em></p>
<p>In trying to live more sustainable the turn has now come to the bathroom. Going sustainable in my bathroom definitely has room for improvement, so I thought I would share 6 different products for you to change.</p>
<p>Organic cotton buds &#8211; I buy organic instead of plastic cotton buds. <a href="http://www.helseriet.dk/shop/oekologiske-vatpinde-fra-1179p.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">These cotton buds</a> are 100% biodegradable as they have cotton stalks instead of plastic. They are better for the environment and as a bonus you can compost it! Yay!</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter wp-image-2388" src="https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/suztain-bambus-tandborste-soft-sort-1.jpg?resize=553%2C377" alt="" width="553" height="377" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/suztain-bambus-tandborste-soft-sort-1.jpg?w=700&amp;ssl=1 700w, https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/suztain-bambus-tandborste-soft-sort-1.jpg?resize=300%2C204&amp;ssl=1 300w" sizes="(max-width: 553px) 100vw, 553px" data-recalc-dims="1" /></p>
<p>Bamboo toothbrush &#8211; A <a href="https://dk.suztain.com/da/tandpleje/suztain-bambus-tandborste-soft-sort-482.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">bamboo toothbrush</a> is actually on the top of my need-to-buy list. Not only are they eco-friendly, but they also look very beautiful compared to a toothbrush in plastic. Also the price is almost to the same as a plastic toothbrush and in great quality too. What&#8217;s not to like?</p>
<p>Organic cotton pads &#8211; As with organic cotton buds, why not buy <a href="http://www.helseriet.dk/shop/100-%25-oekologiske-1180p.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">organic cotton pads</a> too? They are biodegradable and compostable, and not that expensive compared to non-organic. Even better, instead if cotton pads, you can use a knitted cloth for cleansing your face. That will also do the job.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter wp-image-2385" src="https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/organicup-maat-a.jpg?resize=540%2C540" alt="" width="540" height="540" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/organicup-maat-a.jpg?w=1088&amp;ssl=1 1088w, https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/organicup-maat-a.jpg?resize=150%2C150&amp;ssl=1 150w, https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/organicup-maat-a.jpg?resize=300%2C300&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/organicup-maat-a.jpg?resize=768%2C768&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/organicup-maat-a.jpg?resize=1024%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/organicup-maat-a.jpg?resize=700%2C700&amp;ssl=1 700w, https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/organicup-maat-a.jpg?resize=500%2C500&amp;ssl=1 500w" sizes="(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px" data-recalc-dims="1" /></p>
<p>Menstrual cup &#8211; With a menstrual cup you never have to buy tampons and sanitary again. The cup is manufactured in TPE, without silicone, latex, BPE and phthalates. I is also hypoallergenic and recyclable. I have just bought one from <a href="https://www.organicup.com/da/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">OrganiCup</a>, and I must say, I am fan! Very easy to use and it doesn&#8217;t feel uncomfortable as I first thought it would be. If you don&#8217;t feel comfortable using it, luckily there are great alternatives like organic cotton tampons and sanitary.</p>
<p>EcoSavers &#8211; Reduce your water usage when showering with a water saving shower head from <a href="http://www.ecosavers.nl/?page_id=675" target="_blank" rel="noopener">EcoSavers</a>. Through the unique mixture of air and water, this water saving shower head can save up to 70% of water. The shower head gives 4-7 liters of water per minute compare to normal shower heads, which use 11-12 liters per minute.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-2389" src="https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/bio-d-badevaerelsesrengoring-spray-500ml.jpg?resize=495%2C566" alt="" width="495" height="566" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/bio-d-badevaerelsesrengoring-spray-500ml.jpg?w=700&amp;ssl=1 700w, https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/bio-d-badevaerelsesrengoring-spray-500ml.jpg?resize=263%2C300&amp;ssl=1 263w" sizes="(max-width: 495px) 100vw, 495px" data-recalc-dims="1" /></p>
<p>BIO-D Bathroom Cleaner &#8211; BIO-D is one of the most respected brands in environmental housekeeping products. <a href="https://dk.suztain.com/da/rengoringsmidler/bio-d-badevaerelsesrengoring-spray-500ml-223.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">BIO-D bathroom cleaner</a> is manufactured in sustainable, naturally derived raw materials without petrochemicals, phosphates, preservatives, enzymes or synthetic perfumes. It is also hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin. The packaging is recyclable. I have to buy this!</p>

<p>A new year &#8211; a new start. How about starting the new year with being more sustainable in your way of living? I recently started adjusting how I buy kitchen products trying to take care of our environment, and I want to share those tips with you. There are still many things I can do about the products and kitchen supplies I regularly buy, but hey, you got to start somewhere, right? So one of my resolutions for 2018 is going even more sustainable in my kitchen. Here is what I have already changed, and what I want to change:</p>
<p><strong>Laundry with EcoEgg &#8211; </strong>Not really belong in the kitchen category, but my washing machine is placed in the kitchen.. Anyway, this is one of the sustainable changes I have been most excited about. The <a href="https://www.ecoegg.com/product/laundry-egg/">laundry egg from EcoEgg</a> is amazing! It performs just as well as regular detergent, but without any harsh chemicals. Also it lasts 210 washes, which means I don&#8217;t have to think about buying new washing products for years (depending how often you do laundry).</p>
<p><strong>Sponge with no micro plastic &#8211; </strong>Changing plastic sponges with sustainable sponges is an easy adoption. I actually think it do its job much better than the plastic sponges. <a href="https://dk.suztain.com/da/svampe-og-klude/suztain-loofah-skuresvamp-3-stk-368.html?search_query=svamp&amp;results=53">My sponges are from Suztain</a>, and is made out of fibres from the plant Luffa. It last up to 6 months, just remember to wash it from time to time either in your washing machine or with boiled water leftover from making tea og eggs. When it has done its purpose, you can compost it with the rest of your kitchen waste.</p>
<p><strong>Cotton dish cloths &#8211;</strong> Do you knit or have anyone in your family knitting, dish clothes are easy to make yourself. You can also use an old (cotton) shirt of yours buy cutting it into smaller pieces. My mum knitted some cloths for me, but I also bought these<a href="https://www.soedahl.dk/koekken/karklude/product/sodahl-knitted-kitchen-karklud-25-x-25-cm-3-stk--graa-blaa"> beautiful cloths from Söhdahl</a>. Besides washing the cloths in the washing machine, I use the leftover water from boiling egg or making tea to clean the cloths.</p>
<p><strong>Composting kitchen waste &#8211; </strong>Households in Copenhagen just got a container for organic waste, which is converting into biogas for heating, electricity, fuel and agricultural fertilizer. This is an amazing initiative for our city, however I want to keep my organic waste for myself and use it for my house plants and in the common backyard. Therefor I got permission from City of Copenhagen to have<a href="http://www.humus.dk/?Hjemmekompostering/Humus-Komposteren"> my own compost container</a> in the backyard for me and my neighbours&#8217; organic waste. It excites me to follow the compost process, and I can&#8217;t wait to use it!</p>
<p><strong>Compostable food and freezer bags &#8211; </strong>I was surprised how cheap<a href="https://dk.suztain.com/da/madopbevaring/suztain-komposterbar-frysepose-2-liter-30-stk-pr-rulle-526.html"> these sustainable and compostable food and freezer bag</a> are compared to regular plastic bags. These bags don&#8217;t contain plastic or any harsh chemicals. They are made out of corn, and are also compostable (yay!) and certified GMO-free.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-2211" src="https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/ecoegg-bambus-kokkenrulle-med-20-ark-kan-vaskes.jpg?resize=370%2C423" alt="" width="370" height="423" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/ecoegg-bambus-kokkenrulle-med-20-ark-kan-vaskes.jpg?w=700&amp;ssl=1 700w, https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/ecoegg-bambus-kokkenrulle-med-20-ark-kan-vaskes.jpg?resize=263%2C300&amp;ssl=1 263w" sizes="(max-width: 370px) 100vw, 370px" data-recalc-dims="1" /></p>
<p><strong>Ditch paper towels</strong> &#8211; Even though I compost my used paper towels, this product is just a waste of trees. An alternative to paper towels, could be <a href="https://dk.suztain.com/da/papirprodukter/ecoegg-bambus-kokkenrulle-med-20-ark-kan-vaskes-183.html">these washable paper towels</a> made out of ecological bamboo. Each sheet can be washed up to 85 times, which means that one roll with 20 sheets is like 1.700 paper sheets or 40 rolls of paper towels!! I haven&#8217;t tested them yet, but it says they should be better to absorb water than regular paper towels.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-2217" src="https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/19781770-origpic-da01fc.jpg?resize=370%2C370" alt="" width="370" height="370" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/19781770-origpic-da01fc.jpg?w=1200&amp;ssl=1 1200w, https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/19781770-origpic-da01fc.jpg?resize=150%2C150&amp;ssl=1 150w, https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/19781770-origpic-da01fc.jpg?resize=300%2C300&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/19781770-origpic-da01fc.jpg?resize=768%2C768&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/19781770-origpic-da01fc.jpg?resize=1024%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/19781770-origpic-da01fc.jpg?resize=700%2C700&amp;ssl=1 700w, https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/19781770-origpic-da01fc.jpg?resize=500%2C500&amp;ssl=1 500w" sizes="(max-width: 370px) 100vw, 370px" data-recalc-dims="1" /></p>
<p><strong>No more making ice cubes in plastic bags</strong> &#8211; Well, this is just stupid and I can&#8217;t believe I am still using the classic plastic bags making ice cubes. Instead I want to buy this <a href="http://ecoego.dk/ting-til-hjemmet-84/isterningbakke-p2491">ice cube tray in stainless steel</a>.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-2210" src="https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/abeego-madindpakning-mixpakke-3-str-holder-ca-1-ar.png?resize=370%2C422" alt="" width="370" height="422" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/abeego-madindpakning-mixpakke-3-str-holder-ca-1-ar.png?w=368&amp;ssl=1 368w, https://i0.wp.com/littlebotanist.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/abeego-madindpakning-mixpakke-3-str-holder-ca-1-ar.png?resize=263%2C300&amp;ssl=1 263w" sizes="(max-width: 370px) 100vw, 370px" data-recalc-dims="1" /></p>
<p><strong>Out with aluminimum foil &#8211; </strong>I really want to change aluminimum foil and plastic wrap with <a href="https://dk.suztain.com/da/madopbevaring/abeego-madindpakning-mixpakke-3-str-holder-ca-1-ar-15.html">these wraps from Abeego</a> made out of bee wax, ecological cotton, jojoba oil, hemp and resin. The challenge for me is going to take good care of the sheets and wash them in order to make them last, and not just throw them out after one time using them. But ohh, it&#8217;s gonna warm my heart never have to use aluminimum foil again!</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
